(FreshAsFrankie) I am happy to report that Lil Wayne has been released from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where he was treated for multiple seizures suffered on Sunday, September 3.
According to TMZ, Wayne has been ordered to take it easy from touring for at least two weeks. He’ll perform next on September 23.
Despite rumors to the contrary, Wayne’s team insists his seizures were the result of a grueling schedule, combined with a lack of sleep … and had nothing to do with sipping lean.
The rapper reportedly is an epileptic.
