Meek Mill's Attorney Claims Judge Has A Vendetta Against His Client.
(FreshAsFrankie) One of Meek Mill’s attorneys, Joe Tacopina, says bias towards his client led to the prison sentence handed down by Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley on Monday, November 6.

As we previously reported, Brinkley sentenced Meek to 2-4 years behind bars after ruling he violated his probation from a 2009 drug and gun case, by getting arrested twice earlier this year.

Joe Tacopina told TMZ that Brinkley has a vendetta against his client and went against the prosecutor’s recommendation of no prison time. He claims the two are from the same part of Philadelphia and know some of the same people.

Their alleged conflict may also stem from a Boys II Men song, of all things.

According to Tacopia, during a meeting in judges chambers last year, Brinkley told Meek he should do a remake of “On Bended Knee” and shout her out.

Meek responded by laughing because he thought she was joking.

“I’m not kidding,” she reportedly told him.

When the 30-year old rapper, born Robert Williams, refused Brinkley allegedly said “suit yourself.”

Tacopina says there is a clear pattern of bias against Meek and plans to appeal the prison sentence.
