(FreshAsFrankie)Two members of the NYPD appeared to have broken up a cookout on a New York City sidewalk. A group of people was outside grilling up meat when an officer walked up to the grill and poured water on it.
The gentlemen who were cooking cursed at the officer while he attempted to extinguish the flames coming from the grill. Someone even threw something at the officer as he walked away from the scene. It’s unclear what sparked the confrontation, however, grills are not supposed to be used on New York City sidewalks, according to NYC.gov.
