(FreshAsFrankie) Today, controversial Milwaukee Sheriff David Clark announced that he will be resigning from his post. Clarke is well known as a black Sheriff who also moonlights as a pundit on FOXNews, advocating strongly for the Republican Party.
Clarke is currently facing federal charges stemming from the death of four inmates, including Terril Thomas, who died in 2016 of dehydration in one of Clarke’s jails. The controversial sheriff was a front runner for a position in President Trump’s administration but withdrew from consideration shortly after the charges surfaced. Thoughts?
