NCDOT raises speed limit to 70 mph on Greensboro Urban Loop

GREENSBORO, N.C. — According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, the speed limit on the entire Greensboro Urban Loop has been raised to 70 mph.
The loop was designed for a 70 mph speed limit, but was previously set at 65 mph due to ongoing construction on various sections. With all work now completed and accepted, the speed limit has been restored to its original design speed.
