
The cancellation comes after the streamer released its ‘What We Watched’ semi-annual report on viewership for July through December 2025 on January 20, 2026. According to the report, Season 2 of The Vince Staples Show drew modest viewership, with the show logging 1.7 million views.
Season 2 picked up “in the wake of a tragic death,” as Vince embarked on “a wild journey in search of inner peace,” according to Netflix’s official description. The series also starred Andrea Ellsworth, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Beau Billingslea, and Naté Jones.
The show was created by Vince Staples, Ian Edelman, and Maurice Williams.
Netflix also canceled freshman Western drama The Abandons, ending the Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson series after one season.
