(FreshAsFrankie) 50 Cent is definitely making his mark in the television world. Following the massive success of his Starz hit, Power, which was renewed for a sixth season back in March, his latest series, The Oath has been renewed for a second season on Sony’s Crackle.
Variety reports that The Oath, which explores the underworld of gang crime rings, is the streaming service’s most-watched original series ever and has the highest viewer retention rate. The series stars Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Sean Bean (“Ned Stark” from Game of Thrones) and Cory Hardrict (American Sniper).
“Our audience has truly responded to this authentic, raw, and compelling series,” Eric Berger, Crackle GM, according to Variety.
Television news aside, 50 is celebrating the 15th anniversary of his 2003 debut album, Get Rich Or Die Tryin with a European tour. As of now, it appears that 50 will be doing three dates—Birmingham (September 18), London (September 20) and Manchester (September 21).
Most recently, 50 joined Eminem and Dr. Dre on stage for Em’s headlining set at Coachella. Together, 50 and Em ran through hits, “Patiently Waiting”, “I Get Money” and “In Da Club”.
