(NewsnMusic) J Cole came out with guns blazing on a newly released song titled “One Day Everybody Gotta Die.” On one verse he seems to be taking aim at Lil Yachty.
“Bunch of words and ain’t sayin’ sh!t, I hate these rappers/ Especially the amateur eight week rappers/ Lil’ whatever, just another short bus rapper/ Fake drug dealers turn tour bus trappers/ Napoleon complex, you this tall rappers/ Get exposed standin’ next to 6’4″ rappers/ The streets don’t f*** with you, you Pitchfork rappers/ Chosen by the white man, you hipster rappers/ I reload the clip, then I hit more rappers with that/ Straight shittin’ on these pi$$-poor rappers, I’m back,” Cole raps.
While in Los Angeles recently Yachty stopped by radio station Power 106to visit The Cruz Show. He was asked if he had heard the song and what he thought of it.
“It was cool. I don’t listen to J. Cole,” Lil Boat responded. “It flooded my sh!t … it was everywhere. ‘Cause everybody say he was talking about me. I listened to it and he said ‘Lil.’ I’m not little. My name has Lil in it, but I’m not little. It’s a lot of little rappers.”
The 2016 XXL Freshman rapper was asked who Cole could have been talking about it it wasn’t him.
“Either me or [Lil Uzi Vert]. Honestly, I don’t give a f*ck,” he said. “I f*ck with J. Cole, but i don’t listen to him.”
