Known for owning some of the most obscure music projects of this era, Martin Shkreli is awaiting his sentence for his securities fraud he looks to be trying to get his hands on some cash for one of his rather highly coveted possessions.
Shkreli has just recently listed his super exclusive Wu-Tang Clan’s “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album on eBay last night with the opening bid being for $1. Within 1 hour of the auction, the bids were as high as $55,000.
There is a chance that US Marshall could try to seize the album because there is a chance that Shkreli used the illegal money to obtain the record. Due to this possibility, Shkreli is willing to pay up to $25,000 in legal fees associated with this sale. He also put in the fine print he could choose to back out of the deal at any time.
Shkreli paid $2 million for this very exclusive Wu-Tang Clan album.
