(FreshAsFrankie) Meek Mill‘s mugshot was released on Wednesday after he was checked into the Pennsylvania prison system. The Philly rapper was sentenced to 2-4 years after a judge ruled that he violated his probation twice. According to TMZ, the prison Meek will be serving his time at has not been released for security reasons, and it will not be made public until he’s arrived.
Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, claims that they will be appealing the judge’s decision, as Tacopina feels that Judge Genece Brinkley had a vendetta against the Philly rapper for not dropping Roc Nation and signing with her friend. Tacopina also claims that the judge was mad at Meek for not taking her advice and doing a remix of Boyz II Men‘s “On Bended Knee” and giving her a shoutout, which Meek initially thought was a joke.
