(FreshAsFrankie) It seems Meek Mill either didn’t get the memo that his beef with Drake was squashed or chose to discard the message. Regardless, don’t expect those two to collaborate on new music anytime soon.
The confusion stems from a recent interview Meek’s boss, Rick Ross, did with “Best Seat In The House.” He said that he had met Drizzy face-to-face and worked things out.
“We actually sat down. Shout out to J. Prince,” Ross said. “It was really just [bosses having a conversation]. We wasn’t even discussing anything negative because by the time we get in the room, it’s so much other things going on that it’s already let’s get on some money. But I had to just make sure we sat down to have some sort of understanding.”
TMZ reports that despite an “understanding” being reached between Ross and Drake, sources close to Meek say there’s been too much bad blood spilled for him to mend the rift.
