SUV Registered to YG Involved in Police Pursuit and Shooting
A Cadillac Escalade registered to YG was involved in a shooting with a deputy in Compton that led to a pursuit, according to local station ABC 7. It’s unknown at this time whether YG was in the SUV during the incident.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department revealed that officers first responded to a report of a reckless DUI suspect. Once police arrived on the scene, shots were fired from the SUV, leading to a pursuit that ended in Inglewood. The suspects in the SUV fired shots at deputies during the chase, hitting one of the deputies who suffered minor injuries. Authorities revealed that one bystander was killed in the crossfire during the incident.
At least one person was detained in the incident and another is believed to be outstanding.
