Tekashi 6ix9ine is looking to get out of prison by any means, as the rapper and his team referenced the current coronavirus pandemic as a reason why the rapper should be let go early.
Via a letter written to a judge by the rapper’s attorney Lance Lazzaro, it was noted the rapper is suffering from asthma and that puts him at a higher risk for catching coronavirus. As a result, Lazzaro wants Tekashi out of prison ASAP. Lazzaro noted Tekashi was hospitalized for treatment in late 2019 after being diagnosed with sinusitis and bronchitis. The rapper allegedly has been having shortness of breath, but the prison officials reportedly will not let him see a doctor.
While Tekashi only has a few more months to serve on his 24-month sentence, the rapper’s lawyer says he cannot risk being in prison any longer, as his life is on the line due to his health. Stay tuned for more details.
