(FreshAsFrankie) The bodies of missing rapper Bambino Gold, born Edward Reeves, and his cousin Kendrick Stokes have been found in the woods of Macon County, Alabama. Family members reported the two men missing on Nov. 7th (Tuesday) after they had not been seen or heard from since late Sunday night.

The pair was last seen driving a white 2016 Honda CRV with Georgia tags as they made their way to the Alabama State Fair.

According to the Montgomery Advertiserthe county sheriff Andre Bruson confirmed on Saturday that the bodies of Reeves and Stokes were found in two separate locations: Country Road 13 and Highway 80. Both bodies were located on different days, the first body was discovered on Friday evening around 5 p.m. and the second one was found early Saturday morning.

Reeves’ mother Aieda Harris told reporters, “It’s stressful to think that somebody has done something to your child and you can’t be there to take care of them. It makes you very angry. I’m extremely angry. I try to be a calm person but this is just beyond dealing with. It’s absolutely terrible.”

Lil Durk's Signed To The Streets 2.5
(FreshAsFrankie) Lil Durk‘s steady stream of new music continues. On Thursday (Oct. 19), just a little over two months removed from dropping his Super Vultures EP with Lil Reese, the Chicago native returns with Signed to the Streets 2.5. It’s a sequel to his 2014 effort, Signed to the Streets.

A couple of weeks ago, Durk premiered “Make It Out,” which is the third track on his new project. The song features a healthy dose of Auto-tune as he half-sings about depression, the streets and using drugs to cope.

“Looking for inspiration, pray for my generation/Fuck Trump them bitches racist, bought ‘Raris just to race em’,” he spits in the song. At the time he dropped that track, he indicated that Signed to the Streets 3 was coming soon. Maybe that’s true, but for now, we’ve got Signed to the Streets 2.5, which will definitely do.

Check out Signed to the Streets 2.5 for yourself below.

LeBron Says He’s Interested in Purchasing the Cleveland Cavaliers

LeBron Says He's Interested in Purchasing the Cleveland Cavaliers
(FreshAsFrankie) LeBron James is one of the sports world’s most prominent stars and has seen himself become a global brand. Aside from LeBron’s on-the-court prowess he’s been able to leverage his star power to make some serious money moves and at this point in his career, it’s natural to start thinking about the next phase in life. That next phase could include team ownership as LeBron told with reporters:

To be an owner of any team would be crazy, […] If this thing opened up and I’m in a position financially, and I’ve got the right team around me, obviously. But who’s to say Dan will (sell)? I’ve always kept it just player/owner at this point. I guess once I come down to that point, if the conversation needed to be had, I’ll have it. But I don’t have it right now.

If LeBron were to ever become principal owner of the Cavs, Dan Gilbert would have to be willing to sell. But if he were to sell, the King would have to cough up roughly $1.2B. But if he takes a note from Magic Johnson and forms an ownership group he could likely meet the price tag.

Do you think LeBron should seriously consider buying the Cavs?

California NAACP Wants to Get Rid of the National Anthem

California NAACP Wants to Get Rid of the National Anthem
(FreshAsFrankie) When former NFL player Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the national anthem, it sparked much support as well as backlash.

Today, NFL players and other professional athletes have joined in on protesting during the national anthem. Even owners and coaches have shown support. Because of the protests, other organizations like the California branch of the NAACP have gone on to question the national anthem — asking for the anthem’s usage to end.

California branch President Alice Huffman spoke to CBS Sacramento, saying “It’s racist. It doesn’t represent our community. It’s anti-black. This song is wrong. It shouldn’t have been there. We didn’t have it ’til 1931, so it won’t kill us if it goes away.”

Huffman spoke on Kaepernick’s protest message, and how it got lost when different parties started to debate about the flag. “This not about the flag. We love the flag. This about a song that should never have been the national anthem,” she said. Huffman went on to say “This country is a country that has shared values, and the more we respect each other, the better off we’ll be as a country.”

Woman Arrested for Ringing Up $1,800 in Electronics for $3.70 at Walmart

Woman Arrested for Ringing Up $1,800 in Electronics for $3.70 at Walmart
(FreshAsFrankie) A woman was released on $3,000 bond on Tuesday (Nov. 7) after she was arrested for ringing up $1,800 worth of electronics in a Walmart self-checkout for only $3.70.

Cheyenne Amber West of Fort Pierce, Florida, was caught by a loss prevention officer who saw her and her mother picking up various items from the electronics section including an HP computer and video game controllers. The waitress has been charged with felony grand theft and misdemeanor shoplifting.

Store surveillance showed West covering the barcodes on the electronics with stickers from items from the clearance section before ringing herself up at self-checkout. West was apprehended after she wheeled her cart of things outside the door.

Her mother was not arrested, as she didn’t walk with any items. She even went as far to say, “I know what my daughter was doing, but I never walked out with anything, and she is just trying to get gifts for her son.”

In an affidavit to a Florida deputy, West states, “I am just trying to get gifts for my son that I cannot afford. The computer is for my husband. Since he just got me a Coach purse, I figured he deserved something nice as well.”

Flavor Flav Gets New Variety Show Called “Flavor Flav’s Vegas”

Flavor Flav Gets New Variety Show Called "Flavor Flav's Vegas"
(FreshAsFrankie) Although Flavor Flav is part of one of the most iconic and impactful groups of all-time, the Public Enemy hypeman may be just as popular for his stint as a reality TV star. Flav jumped on the celebrity reality TV wave before it became the entertainment cash-cow it has become today. But aside from a few appearances here and there, Flav hasn’t been in the public eye as much as before but that seems to be changing.

Flavor Flav has just signed on to star in his own talk/variety show Flavor Flav’s Vegas. He said, “I always dreamed of being a variety show host, and I think it’s about time, […] And Las Vegas needs a talk show. I want to be the one to bring Vegas its first real live talk show. It won’t just be me interviewing guests, but also I’m going to have a variety of people coming through my show that are in movies, television, etc.”

Flavor Flav’s Vegas will be produced by Leon Knowles who has worked on shows such as Arsenio Hall Show, The Talk, Last Comic Standing and America’s Got Talent. Fans should also be in for a treat as Teddy Riley will be the show’s music director.

Meek Mill’s Mugshot Released

Meek Mill's Mugshot Released
(FreshAsFrankie) Meek Mill‘s mugshot was released on Wednesday after he was checked into the Pennsylvania prison system. The Philly rapper was sentenced to 2-4 years after a judge ruled that he violated his probation twice. According to TMZ, the prison Meek will be serving his time at has not been released for security reasons, and it will not be made public until he’s arrived.

Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, claims that they will be appealing the judge’s decision, as Tacopina feels that Judge Genece Brinkley had a vendetta against the Philly rapper for not dropping Roc Nation and signing with her friend. Tacopina also claims that the judge was mad at Meek for not taking her advice and doing a remix of Boyz II Men‘s “On Bended Knee” and giving her a shoutout, which Meek initially thought was a joke.

Check out Meek’s mugshot up top.
