(FreshAsFrankie) Cardi B, one of hip-hop’s most outspoken artist, says she’s tired of people criticizing how she spends her cash.
The Bronx native’s smash song “Bodak Yellow” steadily climbed the charts, reaching No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. She became the first solo female rapper to hit No.1 since Lauryn Hill released her single “Doo Wop” in 1998. So it should come as no surprise that Cardi likes to enjoy the rewards of her hard work.
However, Cardi B took to Instagram on Wednesday explaining that she doesn’t post every time she helps someone because if she did- the gesture would become less “genuine.”
“I hate my public figures spend money like on jewelry, on [cars], on something real flashy. People be like ‘you could be helping people out with that. You could be doing better deeds. You should be investing that money”.
Cardi continued, “How do you know that they not helping other people out. It wouldn’t be genuine if they post every time, they help somebody out.”
“How tacky and nasty would it look every time I break off my moms, break off my dad, break off my grandmama and I show it on the gram like ‘hey look’ that’s not genuine. That’s not being real. That’s not really helping somebody cause of the heart.” Cardi said.
(FreshAsFrankie) Rob Kardashian has filed a lawsuit against Blac Chyna in which he claims she assaulted him and destroyed his property.
According to court documents first obtained by The Blast, Chyna went on a violent rampage last December after consuming “a significant amount of drugs and alcohol.”
In the lawsuit, he claims “Chyna lunged towards Rob with an iPhone charging cable and attempted to strangle Rob with the cord around his neck.” After breaking free, he says the mother of his child chased after him and “repeatedly struck him in the head and face.”
The suit says Chyna then began to trash the house – which he was renting from his sister Kylie Jenner – breaking down a door, damaging a television and the walls, and even smashing a Christmas gingerbread house.
After attempting to escape in his Bentley, Rob says in the suit that “Chyna threw a nearby chair at Rob’s car causing damage to the vehicle and also used a metal rod to injure Rob.”
Kylie Jenner is also a plaintiff in the lawsuit, claiming Blac Chyna caused over $100,000 in damage to her house.
In the suit, Blac Chyna is described as a stripper who “over the years has created a reputation as a money-hungry, shameless, pseudo-celebrity,” known for her “hard-partying and erratic behavior” who has “little, if any, accomplishments in the entertainment industry.”
Further, the suit claims Chyna’s relationship with Rob was “nothing short of an outright fraud to shake down the Kardashian family without any concern about the consequences.”
Kardashian and Jenner are suing for assault, battery, and vandalism and are asking for unspecified damages.
(FreshAsFrankie) Keke Wyatt posted regarding her break up. The singer posted a video to Instagram where she says Michael Jamar Ford asked her for a divorce, not only while she is eight months pregnant– but while she is in and out of the hospital caring for another one of their children who has cancer.
Through tears, Wyatt says Ford told her she was not trustworthy and “an emotional wreck.” She also implies her husband has been entertaining other women and telling them he is getting divorced. The pair has been married since 2010. They already have eight kids, including one from Ford’s previous relationship.
Wyatt doesn’t hold back about her private life on social media. Part of the couple’s journey had been documented on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars and TV One’s R&B Divas.
Wyatt has since deleted the video she posted Tuesday but I have it.
(FreshAsFrankie) Now, Sister Dee – LOL – is out here looking like a very big snack in general. Many remember Flavor Flav was her “man” in the reality TV world and now she has successfully transitioned into radio and social media. And 50 is 50. I don’t really know if there is anything going on or not, but it would seem so.
All you have to do is look at a few of the pictures.
(FreshAsFrankie) Jay Z admits that’s where Kanye crossed the line…
Last year Kanye West famously railed against Beyonce on stage for rigging the MTV Awards and refusing to allow North West to meet Blue Ivy.
In a Tidal exclusive interview with Rap Radar, Jay Z admits,
“…what really hurt me was, you can’t bring my kids and my wife into it. Kanye’s my little brother. He’s talked about me 100 times. He made a song called ‘Big Brother.’ We’ve gotten past bigger issues. But you brought my family into it, now it’s a problem with me. That’s a real, real problem. And he knows it’s a problem.”
“He knows that he crossed the line. I know him. He knows. I know he knows, because we’ve never let this much space go between one of our disagreements, and we’ve had many, because that’s who we are. That’s what I like about him. He’s an honest person, he’s open and he’ll say things and he’s wrong a lot of times and he’ll confront it.”
(NewsnMusic) Swizz Beatz’ brother Andre King revealed that he was gay in last night’s (December 1) episode of “Growing Up Hip Hop.”
Season 2 of the reality series follows the lives of the relatives or children of rappers like Master P., Rev. Run and Jam Master Jay.
In addition to Swizz’ brother Andre, Angela Simmons, Lil Romeo and JMJ’s son T.J. Mizell are featured on the show.
In an interview with E! News, King discussed breaking the news on “Growing Up Hip Hop” in addition to explaining how he decided to come out of the closet to his family.
“I came to [my family] and I was just honest and I said, ‘You know what, I have something that’s been laying on me and I just really want to tell you guys something,’ and I just told them that I am gay and just identify as me. They were just really proud of me and happy and they all gave me so much love and just really said, you know, this is big. This is bigger than you doing your reality [show], this is your reality,” King said.
“Growing Up Hip Hop” airs each Thursday at 9:00
