(FreshAsFrankie) Since dropping “The Oracle” early Friday morning, Mase has had fans not only discussing the bars on his track but clamoring for a response from Killa Cam. He teased a snippet of his track via Instagram late Friday night and also took jabs at Mase throughout the day. But Cam announced on Saturday via IG that he would be dropping “Dinner Time” at 10:30 p.m. EST and the Dipset head honcho has delivered.

NBA Youngboy’s Chain Snatched From Entourage Member in North Carolina

NBA Youngboy's Chain Snatched From Entourage Member in North Carolina

(FreshAsFrankie) While on a tour stop in Greensboro, North Carolina, NBA Youngboy and his entourage faced some issues involving one of the rapper’s chain. A video surfaced of the rapper performing when one of his chains was snatched. However, the video shows that the chain was not taken directly from the rapper, but from a member of his crew.

Youngboy addressed the crowd, saying “You see that chain you just took off my partner’s neck? That ain’t his chain, that’s my chain. I ain’t really tripping off that sh*t because I got too much money. I will shoot this b***h up.”

Another video shows the rapper saying “Don’t go on Instagram acting like you took that b***h off my neck.” From there, he goes into another song and continues on with the show. Watch above.

Mase Says He’s Not Cool w/ Cam’ron; Shook Hand Out of Respect

Mase Drops "The Oracle" Diss Aimed at Cam'ron

(FreshAsFrankie) Mase made it clear that he is still not cool with Cam’ron, via an Instagram post.

The post featured a screenshot of their exchange where they both said they are still brothers. Mase’s caption for the post completely went against that idea, with the rapper saying “We’re not cool. I shook his hand ‘cause I won. That’s it. As a man that’s what you do after you win unanimously. TheOracle #mase @RSVPMase.”

So after the exchange of diss tracks and the few memes tossed around, it seems that Cam’ron and Mase were simply having a brotherly spat. After Cam dropped his response record, “Dinner Time,” to Mase’s “The Oracle,” to which many fans felt was tepid at best, the two Harlemites apparently chalked the entire thing up as good fun. Mase commented on a post telling Cam:

YOU STILL MY BROTHER IF YOU WOULD TO BE… This was just for bragging rights #mase #theoracle

Killa Cam followed up by responding:

yea this was fun.. u still my bro too. Glad I get to brag lol. So when u leaving Harlem again? 2mr?

It seems as though this was just one of the classic cases of rappers using their platforms to address some underlying issues as well as testing their skills against one another. Everyone will have to wait and see if this is entirely over.

(FreshAsFrankie) Although Flavor Flav is part of one of the most iconic and impactful groups of all-time, the Public Enemy hypeman may be just as popular for his stint as a reality TV star. Flavor Flav’s Vegas will be produced by Leon Knowles who has worked on shows such as Arsenio Hall Show, The Talk, Last Comic Standing and America’s Got Talent. Fans should also be in for a treat as Teddy Riley will be the show’s music director.

Cardi B Calls out Haters Who Criticize Her Spending Habits

Cardi B Calls out Haters Who Criticize Her Spending Habits

(FreshAsFrankie) Cardi B, one of hip-hop’s most outspoken artist, says she’s tired of people criticizing how she spends her cash.

The Bronx native’s smash song “Bodak Yellow” steadily climbed the charts, reaching No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. She became the first solo female rapper to hit No.1 since Lauryn Hill released her single “Doo Wop” in 1998. So it should come as no surprise that Cardi likes to enjoy the rewards of her hard work.

However, Cardi B took to Instagram on Wednesday explaining that she doesn’t post every time she helps someone because if she did- the gesture would become less “genuine.”

“I hate my public figures spend money like on jewelry, on [cars], on something real flashy. People be like ‘you could be helping people out with that. You could be doing better deeds. You should be investing that money”.

Cardi continued, “How do you know that they not helping other people out. It wouldn’t be genuine if they post every time, they help somebody out.”

“How tacky and nasty would it look every time I break off my moms, break off my dad, break off my grandmama and I show it on the gram like ‘hey look’ that’s not genuine. That’s not being real. That’s not really helping somebody cause of the heart.” Cardi said.
