(FreshAsFrankie) Rapper Cardi B has shot down reports she and boyfriend Offset are secretly engaged.
The “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” hitmaker wore a flowing white gown to the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, prompting some fans to suggest the look was a hint about an upcoming wedding.
But the 34-year-old said, “It is not true…! I’m looking like I’m getting married, but I’m not there.”
The couple went public with the romance in February, and Cardi admits she’s very happy with the Migos star, telling red carpet reporters, “A lot of love, sex, communication (makes it work).”
But a source says, “Cardi and Offset are not engaged yet, but they are moving very very fast!
“Offset has bought Cardi so many diamonds, bags, shoes, he has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on her and she is so in love with him. I can see them getting engaged… They do call each other husband and wife.”
