Feds Request Tekashi’s Child Sex Charges Not Be Brought Up in Trial
According to reports, Tekashi 6ix9ine is expected to be a witness at the trial for two of the men arrested in the rapper’s federal racketeering case. However, it was noted that the government is trying to keep parts of 6ix9ine’s past from hitting the courtroom.
Documents that surfaced found US Attorney General Geoffrey Berman asking the judge on the case to stop defense lawyers from asking the rapper about a guilty plea he took in his 2015 for a case related to use of a child in a sexual performance. The Attorney General thinks that the details of the 2015 case will completely sway jurors to rule against the rapper overall.
