Forever 21 found itself in a bit of hot water with its latest “Wakanda Forever Fair Isle Sweater.” The fast-fashion company committed a marketing snafu by featuring a blond-haired blue-eyed model as late as Tuesday morning. The choice to have a white model instead of someone Black modeling the Black Panther merch ignited a tweet storm from angry customers.
After the various complaints, Forever 21 removed the model and replaced him with a stock photo of the sweater. The company has yet to comment on the matter.
