Rap veteran Lil’ Kim has urged fans and the media to focus on her music because she’s sick and tired of answering questions about her feud with Nicki Minaj.
The hip-hop star is promoting her new single, “Nasty One,” and admits she’s frustrated that all anyone wants to talk about is her war of words with Nicki.
The two women have been beefing since 2007 when Kim accused Nicki Minaj of stealing her look on the cover of her “Playtime is Over” mixtape – but now the “Magic Stick” star wants the feud to end.
Asked about the drama at the start of a Real 92.3 radio interview Kim spat back, “Why isn’t this about Kim?”
She went on to insist the drama is in the past, adding, “She did what she did, until she’s ready, hopefully, God puts it on her mind to do the right thing because she knows what she did. Once that happens, hopefully, everyone will stop asking me (about it).”
She also shot down chatter about another ongoing feud, with Remy Ma, adding, “That automatically puts females against each other. Let each female shine.”
