Meek Mill Agrees To Sweet Deal In New York City Reckless Driving Case

Meek Mill and his attorney, Joe Tacopina, have worked out a deal with the District Attorney in New York City that should should clean his record of the reckless driving charge his picked up in August. As we previously reported, Meek, real name Robert Williams, was arrested and charged with felony reckless endangerment, for allegedly popping wheelies on a motorcycle. That charge was later reduced to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and reckless driving. TMZ reports that the D.A. has now agreed to a deal that will wipe the arrest from his record if he avoids any more trouble for the next six months. Meek must also complete 30 hours of community service, which should be a breeze because he's already knocked out 20. "This swift resolution vindicates Meek and clearly shows how outrageous the police department's conduct is in this case," Tacopina told TMZ.
