Newcomer 21 Savage placed himself in the middle of the news surrounding the killing of fellow Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh.

21 defended No Plug, the person that admitted he was involved in a shootout which led to the death of Fresh.

In August, Bankroll Fresh’s uncle Shadi Powers spoke with about 21 connecting himself to No Plug and his nephew’s situation.

“I don’t even know why 21 Savage is allowing himself to be put in this equation,” said Powers. “To be honest, he’s a young rapper that don’t come from the side of town where No Plug comes from.”
